We have a comprehensive website which has a video taking you through the house to show the layout and facilities. It also has a drone video to give an understanding of the location. Bookings will be confirmed by phone after the initial enquiry via the website, phone or letter.
There is a regular bus service from Cardigan bus station to St Dogmaels and also regular services to both Carmarthen and Aberystwyth. These are the train stations which you would use if coming by train depending on your starting location
Arrival and Car Parking Facilities
There is off- road parking for 2 cars on a slightly sloping ‘quartz resin bonded’ drive at the side of the house. From there is level access to the front door (through a gate 900mm), rear door and both sets of dining area bi-fold doors (through a gate 900mm)
The house can be entered through 4 doors.
NB – The floor throughout the house is hardwood. There is central heating – downstairs and all bathrooms are underfloor heated. The bedrooms are heated with radiators. The windows are lockable double glazed which are childproof.
The lounge can be accessed from the Front Door (via the porch) and the Kitchen dining area (2 steps as listed previously).
The furniture is movable – there is a 3 seater sofa and a 2 seater sofa bed, matching footstool and nest of tables.
There is a large flat screen smart TV (Freeview), DVD player (both with remote controls),DVD player, Bluetooth speaker.
An electric log burner is in the fireplace (remote controlled). It is lit with 8 down lighters (2lots of 4) and a standard lamp. Smoke alarm

The door is 800mm wide.
The furniture is all moveable – It is an armchair, footstool and 2 large beanbags. The electric log burner is a similar design to the lounge (remote control)
There is a large bookcase/dresser housing games books, maps etc. There is a monitor to allow visiting families to use their games consoles.
There is a nest of tables. It is lit with one central light and a standard lamp
This accessed by a short under stair passage (780mm wide) and then a door 740mm wide.
It has a washing machine, tumble and houses the boiler and all the central heating controls.

Downstairs shower room
The door (750mm) is RH hinged and opens outwards. Wash basin height is 870mm, toilet height seat is 430mm. The shower cubicle has a low threshold of 80mm and the opening is 420mm. It is lit by 3 down-lighters and has a built-in mirror light and extraction.
From the lounge, there are 2 steps down (190mm high and 850mm wide) There is a range of units on the back wall including fridge, freezer, microwave oven, fan assisted oven, dishwasher, sink (mixer tap), wine chiller, bins and storage. The work surface for these is 910mm high. There is one cupboard higher than work surface height – 1750mm.
There is an island which houses more storage units and the induction hob. The kitchen is lit with 10 downlighters and a bank of 3 lights over the island. There is also lighting under the island and in some pelmets.
Smoke alarm, route and telephone are located next to the armchair.
The dining area is lit by one central light.
The furniture is moveable and consists of a long refectory style table with 2 matching benches and a sideboard.

The Captains Suite
The dressing area is entered (750mm door) from the main staircase and gives access to the bedroom and en-suite

Leaving by the bi-fold doors – there is a large level deck overlooking the Teifi Estuary with a rattan couch, coffee table, steamer chairs and hammock. There is a summer house which houses the hot tub. There are bi-fold doors to access this (Threshold is 40mm). Down four steps you access the lower patio where there is an outdoor kitchen, (Gas BBQ and Woodfired Pizza Oven). A very large table with 8 chairs is the dining area.
